Already An Amazing Year In The Field!

I began the year in California but was only able to turn up one frog as it was incredibly dry down there in early January. Then the funky winter weather (or lack thereof) meant an early start to Utah field herping. In addition, we made it down to southern California

and Arizona a few weeks ago and we had quite a bit of success including our primary goal: photograph the white speckled rattlesnakes in southern Arizona. Since the year began I've photographed 15 of the Utah herps species/subspecies. The goal to photograph 80% of Utah's herp species is on track so far.
